POETRY EXCERPTS
FROM SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS

POETRY BY ANTHONY V. AURIEMMA

Princess Sara
My precious jewel how rough when I found you
not knowing your gifts in beauty abound you
possessing these gifts that you've given freely
gave me the chance of living quite kingly.

In castles up high as enemies prevail
the moat, turret and walls they will scale.
Demons of past, secrets untold
lies upon lies as our hearts turn to cold.

These gifts that were given can never be taken
growing precious through time as beauty is shaken.
As time dallies on the gifts then are cherished
while the castles and dragons in memory
will perish

Meatball Sandwich Dance
As flirtatious glances dance back and forth
from the moment their eyes meet
an instant shot of adrenaline surges
through their
veins as the beautiful dance begins.
Each question exploring finding interest, similarities and premonitions gone by
Not even the dark man behind them
 can push this light aside
As each takes the lead and the other gives way
Cherishing discoveries, tripping over lies
Twirling about, dreaming of kissing the other
Suppressing primal instincts for fear of respect
Anxiously wanting to spin
Through this phase of sweet wonderment
When all that is there is just a kiss away
Palm kissing palm with their healing hands
Now the tapestry's enfolded
in each other's arms
Caressing the details of one another's beauty.
It is a memory in time that conjures up smiles
A moment of blissfulness on a day in Hollywood.

Crowns & Chronic
B
aby, what are you doin' tonight?
Tonight, when the time is right.
Tonight, this night after your flight.
Do you now what I mean
Do you feel what I'm sayin'
Are you cravin' our tonic
For Crowns and chronic.
Can I caress your body
Can we laugh and play
Can I hold you close
While you grab the post
Can I see you there
In the midnight air
Can I hold ya all night
No reason to fight
Just wanna settle
Maybe bite ya a little
Caress you hold you
Pullin' your hair
Baby you know when naked you glow
Every part's a real gurl
Let me play with your crazy curl
Let me hold ya tight in hydrophonic flight
Of Crowns and Chronic
Better start groovin' cause this night is movin'
Tonic time never seems to last
Start packin' start suckin'
Come on baby come on
Don't go a leavin' now
Till the sun begins a risin'
No baby no I wanna sleep over
just tryin' to hold ya a little while longer
Before the clock begins to yell
we betta start a sleepin'
Ohhhhhhh baby we're dreamin' now
I think your pager's beepin'
A night of
Crowns and Chronic
